These Terms govern your use of MeasureMyMeal. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

MeasureMyMeal provides tools for meal logging, pantry management, food recognition, nutrition estimates, planning, household profiles and related wellness insights.

2. Not medical advice

MeasureMyMeal is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency services. Nutrition, calorie, portion and AI-generated estimates can be incomplete or inaccurate.

3. AI features

AI outputs are probabilistic and should be reviewed by you. Do not assume that food identity, allergens, ingredients, expiry information, portion sizes or nutrition values generated by AI are correct.

4. Bring Your Own Key

If you choose Bring Your Own Key, you are responsible for your Gemini API key, Google account, API quota and any charges from Google. MeasureMyMeal encrypts the key on your device and does not store that key in its database or servers.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Where paid plans are offered, purchases are processed through Google Play. Prices, renewal terms, cancellation options and refunds are governed by the purchase information shown in Google Play and applicable law.

6. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and device. You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security controls, automate abusive requests or use the service unlawfully.

7. Household information

If you create profiles or enter information for other people, you are responsible for ensuring you are authorised to do so and for using the feature appropriately.

8. Availability and changes

Features may change, be improved, suspended or discontinued. Third-party services such as Google, Firebase, Health Connect and Gemini may also change availability, pricing, quotas or functionality independently of MeasureMyMeal.

9. Intellectual property

MeasureMyMeal branding, software, original content and technology are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Certain technologies incorporated into MeasureMyMeal are UK Patent Pending. Reference: MMM-PATENT-01.

10. Limitation

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, MeasureMyMeal is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on estimated nutrition, AI output, third-party availability or information you enter incorrectly.

11. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion information is available at Delete account and data.
